Rounds, who was married to O'Donnell from 2012 to 2015, was found dead on September 11 with multiple pill bottles around her body.

AceShowbiz - Rosie O'Donnell's ex-wife Michelle Rounds' death has been ruled a suicide. Officials at the Orange County Coroner confirm to The Blast that the cause of death was listed as "intoxication by amitriptyline, clonazepam, and quetiapine," which are all prescription medications.

Clonazepam can treat panic disorder and anxiety while Amitriptyline and Quetiapine are commonly used to treat depression. Rounds' body was found at 7:07 A.M. on September 11 with multiple pill bottles around her body. She was 46 at the time of her death.

After news broke about Rounds' sudden passing, O'Donnell said in a statement, "I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle's family, her wife and their child."

O'Donnell and Rounds wed quietly in June 2012 at their home in Nyack, New York, after dating since 2011. They adopted a daughter, Dakota, who is now 4 years old. The former "The View" moderator filed for divorce from Rounds in February 2015, citing an "irretrievably broken relationship" as the reason behind their split.

Around the time of their split, the 55-year-old actress/comedian announced her exit from ABC's daytime talk show "The View". "Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention," her rep said at the time. "This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave 'The View'. Next week will be her last."

Their toxic marriage and bitter divorce led O'Donnell to vow that she would never marry again. Their divorce was finalized in March 2016. In July of the same year, O'Donnell revealed she had sole custody of their daughter, whom she calls Dax.

Rounds is survived by her parents, wife Krista Monteleone, two daughters and a stepson.

O'Donnell, meanwhile, has four other children, ages 4 through 22, with her first wife Kelli Carpenter.
