According to a statement by Prince Charles' Clarence House, the 33-year-old prince and the 36-year-old beauty will hold a wedding in spring 2018.

AceShowbiz - It's official! Prince Harry has announced his engagement to actress Meghan Markle. According to a statement released by Prince Charles' Clarence House, the newly-engaged couple will marry in spring.
"The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle," stated Clarence House in a tweet which was posted on Monday, November 27 alongside an official statement regarding the exciting news.
"The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course," added Prince Charles' Clarence House in the statement. "His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle's parents."
The statement concluded by saying that "the couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace."

The "Suits" actress' parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, also issued a statement which read, "We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents." They added, "We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."

Also expressing their happiness over Harry and Meghan's engagement were his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said of the engagement, "We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together."

As for Meghan's title, many assume that she will take on the title of Her Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales in her husband's name, since one can't become a royal through marriage. Another possibility is that Harry and Meghan will become known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. However, to get this title The Queen must grant them a royal dukedom on their wedding day. Considering that The Queen did the honor for William and Kate, it most likely she will do the same for Harry and Meghan.
The engagement announcement arrives just weeks after it was reported that the 36-year-old actress had moved out of her Toronto apartment as she moved in together with the 33-year-old British prince. It also ended the long speculation on when the couple would announce their engagement as well as hold their royal wedding.
