People have been asking 'who's that hot guy beside Liam Payne' after Jackson attended the MTV Europe Music Awards as the Greater China region ambassador.

AceShowbiz - Jackson Wang has become a global superstar in just one night. The GOT7 member clearly stole the show at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards which he attended on Sunday, November 12 in London without his bandmates.

Looking handsome in a dark suit with glittery lapel and wearing a necklace, the 23-year-old singer attended the event as the Greater China region ambassador after making a successful Chinese debut with "Papillon" earlier this year. He sat next to One Direction's star Liam Payne and was seen interacting with the "Strip That Down" singer.

People soon fell for him and his charm after a few-second glimpse of Jackson as they have been asking on Twitter, "Who is that hot Asian guy beside Liam Payne?" They thought he was hot and cute, with one writing, "who is that guy next to liam dressed in black, HE HOT AND CUTEEE."

Another similarly tweeted, "who is jackson wang bcs he's cute as hell #MTVEMA." One other comment read, "Okay can someone please send me some hot a** pics of that cute asian who was next to Liam this is enough for me #MTVEMA."

K-pop music fans kindly replied to those questions.

"Well meet our king, Jackson Wang. He is a rapper singer in SK, born and raised in HongKong. 1/7 of a group called GOT7. His solo label is Team Wang. And yes, he is hot and a cutie. HE IS ART," one answered.

"Europe is gonna fall with jackson wang and his irresistible charm and he's nominated for a local mtv award? He's clearly about to rule the world," another gushed about Jackson.

Another fan quipped, "Me letting everyone on this HT know That one handsome man is no other than mister Jackson Wang, a Chinese artist who is also part of korean boy group got7 and just released his 1st single Papillon (available on iTunes) a few months ago."

Jackson was a sabre fencer for Hong Kong's fencing team before pursuing his career in music. He ranked eleventh in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and won first place at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in 2011.

After passing a music audition, he moved to Seoul, South Korea in July 2011. He debuted as a member of GOT7 in January 2014.
