The 'King in Love' star says his friend and fellow actor/model Woo Bin 'has been doing a lot better' and will be okay soon.

AceShowbiz - Kim Woo Bin has been out of the spotlight since he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer earlier this year. He has received treatment for the disease and while we rarely hear from the 28-year-old actor, his close friend Hong Jong Hyun has given an update on Woo Bin's condition.
Jong Hyun, who recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of his career, said in an interview about his best friend and "Vampire Idol" co-star Woo Bin, "I was really shocked at first. I knew his body wasn't well but didn't realize it was to that extent. As of right now, I know that he has been doing a lot better; he'll be okay soon."
He added, "It isn't hard to keep in touch to see how he is doing." He also revealed what he did when he first heard the shocking news, "I was sorry because I couldn't contact him even after finding out about it. He must be having a more difficult time than anyone else and you can only imagine just how many called him to ask if he's doing okay."
"I thought that asking that question itself would give him stress," he continued. "I sent him a text message after some time when his name stopped popping up everywhere on the internet. We conversed about some stuff and he called me after a while to say that he's doing okay. I'm cheering him on and I hope he gets healthy soon so we can work together again."
Woo Bin halted all activities since he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer in May. He has received drug and radiation treatment and due to the medication, he had lost 22 lbs by July. However, his agency SidusHQ said his condition had been improving. "His condition is improving a lot. We're waiting for the results of his health examination, and we'll decide on his further treatment afterward," the company said in late July, adding, "He's doing better enough to exercise."
His girlfriend Shin Min A has shown constant support for him during the treatment, and was often seen accompanying him to the hospital.
