Former TV news anchor Heather Unruh claims the disgraced actor sexually assaulted her son, then 18, in July last year at a Nantucket restaurant when her son was drunk.

AceShowbiz - Former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh has claimed Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her teenage son. Together with her attorney, Unruh held a press conference on Wednesday morning, November 8 in Massachusetts to reveal the assault happened in July 2016 at a Nantucket restaurant when her then 18-year-old son was drunk.

Breaking down in tears, Unruh said her son was a "starstruck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator, or that he was about to become his next victim." She told reporters, "To Kevin Spacey, I want to say this. Shame on you for what you did to my son."

Detailing how Spacey put his hands down her teenage son, Uruh said the Oscar-winning actor bought her son several drinks, before eventually sticking his hand in his pants and grabbing the teen's genitals without consent in the crowded, dimly lit Club Car restaurant. When Spacey went to the men's room, Unruh said a "concerned woman" approached her son to ask if he was okay and encourage him to "run away."

"I don't know how much she saw. I don't know who she is. She saw Kevin Spacey put his hand in my son's pants," said Unruh. "What I do know was that she saw that my son was very shaken and I would guess that she probably knew he was underage. He didn't look 21, and I know that she had presence of mind and was disturbed enough by what she had seen to approach this young man who's almost 6-feet tall and ask if he's okay."

Since first tweeting about the incident on October 13, Unruh said she's heard from other victims of Spacey, some of whom she claimed weren't ready to share their story. Since Anthony Rapp revealed on October 29 that he was allegedly assaulted by the former "House of Cards" star, at least 13 men have come forward with accusations of sexual misconduct.

Unruh told reporters, "I want to see Kevin Spacey go to jail. I want to see Kevin Spacey have the hand of justice come down on him, not just for my son but for the many others who have yet to speak their truth."

She continued, "A community is developing. I've been contacted by a lot of them. They feel a connection to me and my family because I came forward and spoke and a lot of them feel like they haven't been able to speak. Some of them want to but there are some who have been suffering for decades and haven't told anybody until they told me. They've got a long way to go. I think what this did was open up a wound and a lot of people are feeling it. I think that's what happened with the Harvey Weinstein case."

Unruh also said she believes there's "at least" one more victim of Spacey from the Nantucket area.

Following Unruh's press conference, owners of Club Car issued a statement that read, "We were saddened to read Heather Unruh's story to reporters that actor Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her son during an encounter last year here on Nantucket. Unruh is a cherished member of our local Boston community and it's difficult to imagine this unfolding national scandal would hit home here."

"Club Car is an iconic establishment on Nantucket Island," the statement continued. "We purchased it after the close of the 2016 season, and therefore after this unfortunate incident. While the name remains, our chef, the staff, menu and environment has changed and been reimagined. We uphold the highest standards for safety and service. Underage drinking is prohibited at our restaurant."

"Our hearts go out to all the victims involved in the Kevin Spacey scandal and, of course, Ms. Unruh and her son," it concluded.

A rep for Spacey has not responded to a request for comment.
