Instead, the NBC show will air a repeat episode from September, which featured guests Madonna and Camila Cabello, in place for the new episode.

AceShowbiz - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" will not air its Friday, November 3 episode due to family matter that host Jimmy Fallon has to attend. It's reported that Fallon's mother is hospitalized.

A rep for the late-night show tells PEOPLE that the NBC show has been canceled due to "a private Fallon family matter."

According to a source, Fallon's mother Gloria is admitted to a hospital and the 43-year-old TV personality has gone to the hospital to stay by her side. "Jimmy comes from a very close knit family, and together with the rest of his loved ones they are by her side right now," the source adds.

The Friday episode was initially scheduled to feature guests such as Saoirse Ronan, Julian Edelman and Clive Davis. Also set to appear in the episode were Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign. The show will air a repeat episode from September instead. The episode featured guests Madonna and Camila Cabello.

The show will return next week as scheduled. Adam Levine, Gina Rodriguez as well as Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg of "Daddy's Home 2" will serve as the guests when the show returns.

Fallon is the latest late-night show host who is forced to leave their hosting duty due to family matter. "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" previously announced that a slew of celebrity guests, including Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Shaquille O'Neal and Dave Grohl, were going to guest-host the show this week since Jimmy Kimmel prepared for his 6-month-old son Billy's second heart surgery.

In a recent episode of the show, Lawrence welcomed her favorite reality star Kim Kardashian as the guest. The two stars talked about how the "mother!" actress got drunk during a dinner at Kris Jenner's home. "So Jennifer came over for dinner two weeks ago, I've never seen my mom more drunk in our lives. It was so funny. They had a few too many drinks for my taste," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed. They then showed footage from the wild dinner where Jennifer and Kris, who looked wasted, were dancing and singing.
