AceShowbiz - %cTaylor Swift%'s "Reputation" album is coming in a few days, and the singer decides to hype it up by releasing another track off the upcoming album. After teasing "Call It What You Want" on her Instagram account, Taylor released the track on Friday, November 3.
The three-and-a-half-minute track is a mid-tempo electro-pop song which finds the "Look What You Made Me Do" hitmaker singing about her past. "My castle crumbled overnight/ I brought a knife to a gunfight/ They took the crown but it's alright," she sings. "All the liars are calling me one/ Nobody's heard from me for months/ I'm doing better than I ever was."
"Call It What You Want" is the fourth track off her upcoming album "Reputation", which is set to be released on November 10. Prior to this, the Grammy Award winner has released "Look What You Made Me Do", "...Ready for It?" and "Gorgeous", which is rumored to be a song about her beau %cJoe Alwyn%.
Following the release of "Gorgeous", Taylor shared an inside look of the track's songwriting process on YouTube. Fans could see that the songstress struggled to complete the song. She was even interrupted by a "ghost" during the process, making her scared.
The "I Know You Were Trouble" hitmaker has also confirmed that she would perfom on ABC's "Scandal" on November 9, a day before the album's release. The special appearance was revealed on November 2 on "Good Morning America". News presenter %cLana Spencer% teased that the track that Taylor would be performing is a track that hasn't been released before. "Remember, between 21:00 and 22:00 P.M., Taylor will perform a never before heard song from new album reputation," she announced.
A teaser for Taylor's upcoming performance was also shared on the news show, showing waves crashing against rocks, a bird flying in the sky and a waterside mansion. An extended version of Taylor's performance on "Scandal" will air on November 10 on Freeform.
