Revealing YG Entertainment's head producer Yang Hyun Suk's strict discipline method, the 'Gotta Talk To U' singer says, 'I would have made a fortune with a slipper business.'

AceShowbiz - Seungri has been known for being the most blunt member of Big Bang. Attending a press conference for JTBC's upcoming trainee survival program "Mix Nine" on Friday, October 27, the 26-year-old singer made everyone laugh with his honest remark about Yang Hyun Suk's strict discipline method.

Being a special judge on the show along with Zion.T, Seungri as well as main PDs Han Dong Chul, Yoo Sung Mo and YG Entertainment's head producer Yang Hyun Suk recently toured entertainment labels all over Korea. During the press conference, he shared his thought after the tour.

"I spent about 3 hours in each entertainment label with director Yang Hyun Suk. It turns out, not all of the labels are like YG. These labels don't scold or discipline trainees like YG. They really raise the trainees like precious children," he said, adding, "But I don't believe that such methods are preferable."

Seungri caused a burst of laughter as he said, "I would have made a fortune with a slipper business, after collecting all of the slippers that were thrown at me over the years [by Yang Hyun Suk]."

Earlier this month, Seungri shared a picture with Yang Hyun Suk and Park Jin Young, the head of JYP Entertainment, during the filming of "Mix Nine". He wrote in the caption, "By filming JTBC's 'MIXNINE', I was reminded of 12 years ago, the memories from when I earnestly worked hard to enter YG, to become a member of BIGBANG. I also saw that there are still many people out there who are going to become stars. See the future's stars for yourself."

He added through hashtags, "JYP was just as good as expected," "I want to train at JYP too," "YG trainee evaluating JYP trainees," and "Is this real life?"

"Mix Nine" is a reality competition program where Yang Hyun Suk visits different agencies to find the next K-pop star. The show will premiere on October 29 at 4:50 P.M. KST.
