New 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Clip Teases Mike and Eleven's Reunion

The clip features Mike being questioned by the cops about Eleven's whereabouts before the latter appears in the darkness outside a window.

AceShowbiz - Ahead of its season 2 premiere on October 27, "Stranger Things" has released a brand new clip of the upcoming sophomore season. Released via Netflix U.K. & Ireland's YouTube channel, the new clip teases a reunion between Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), after the latter was trapped in the Upside Down last season.

The clip shows that Mike is being questioned by the authorities as to the whereabouts of Eleven. "I've told you everything. I don't know where she is," Mike insists. "And even if I did, I'd never tell you. I would never tell you."

One of the cops later responds, "I know it's difficult to accept [that] she's a very dangerous individual." Meanwhile, another cop asks Mike to tell the cops if Eleven contacts him, otherwise he's putting himself and his entire family at risk.

Mike later looks at the window where he catches a glimpse of someone, who is presumably Eleven, lurking in the darkness. One of the cops, who happens to notice that Mike stares fixedly at the window, follows Mike's gaze and turns his head to the window as well.

Should that be really Eleven, not just Mike's imagination, the idea of her hiding herself in the darkness seemingly indicates that Eleven is having an inside conflict. She may long to be a normal kid, playing around with her friends and most importantly her family. However, given her telekinetic power, she knows better than anyone else that she must stay hidden for her friends' protection and her own.

The clip further suggests that season 2 will begin with the hunt for Eleven. It is also assumed that the sophomore season will bring us deeper into the backstory of Eleven's power as well as how she ended up in the research lab.

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Friday, October 27 on Netflix.
