The troubled actor is busted for domestic violence after allegedly pulling his girlfriend's hair during a heated argument in a California hotel room.

AceShowbiz - After managing to stay away from troubles for two years, Nicholas Brendon fell back into his bad habits. The former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actor was recently arrested for domestic violence after attacking his girlfriend.

The 46-year-old actor was taken into police custody in California after a heated argument with his girlfriend escalated. He allegedly yanked her arm and dragged her by her hair during the row in a Saguaro hotel room in Palm Springs.

"He was with his girlfriend and they got into an argument," Palm Springs Police Sgt. William Hutchinson confirmed to KESQ-TV. "During the argument at the bar, he pulled her arm and then violently pulled her by her hair."

Nicholas Brendon had numerous run-in with the law in the past. Back in 2015, he was arrested in New York for choking his girlfriend, taking her car keys and smashing her cell phone. He was charged with criminal mischief, obstruction of breathing and robbery.

It was his fourth arrest in a year. He pleaded guilty and checked into rehab. In an interview with Dr. Phil, he revealed that he was molested by a teacher and tried to kill himself. "Maybe I'm just done," he said of going to rehab. "Maybe I'm ready to be happy now."

Due to his violent past, his girlfriend was granted active protective orders against the "Criminal Minds" alum in Florida and New York. He was allowed to be around her, but could not harass, injure, assault or threaten her.

Brendon is now facing charges for violating a protective order and felony inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He was arrested on October 11 and held on $50,000 bail. He was released the following day.

The actor's career took a nosedive in the past few years. He was last seen on TV series "Faking It" in 2015.
