'SNL' Tackles Harvey Weinstein Scandal: He Needs 'Specialized Facility' With 'Metal Bars'
TV

Colin Jost and Michael Che didn't hold back as they put the disgraced movie mogul on blast during 'Weekend Update' on 'Saturday Night Live'.

AceShowbiz - "Saturday Night Live" addressed Harvey Weinstein scandal head-on. The NBC sketch show took a swipe at the disgraced movie mogul during "Weekend Update". Colin Jost started with faux news from Apple, "It will add hundreds of new emojis to its iOS system including a person at a spa, a vomiting face and a shushing finger - finally giving emoji fans the ability to describe what it was like to work for Harvey Weinstein."

Jost also responded to reports that the movie honcho checked into rehab. He mocked, "Somehow, I don't think that is going to help anybody. He doesn't need sex rehab. He needs a specialized facility where there are no women, no contact with the outside world, metal bars, and it's a prison."

Co-host Michael Che chimed in, "This is a tough spot for a comedian because it's so hard to make jokes about sexual assault, but it's so easy to make jokes about a guy that looks like this. I mean, he looks like chewed bubblegum rolled in cat hair."

He continued, "Weinstein told reporters that 'we all make mistakes,' but you assaulted dozens of women - that's not a mistake, that's a full season of Law and Order. Your name's a verb now, dude - as in, if this guy tries to Weinstein me, I'm going to cut off his little Harvey. Doesn't he look like a well-dressed skin tag?"

Meanwhile, the "SNL" female cast tackled the Hollywood sexual harassment scandal in a panel moderated by Aidy Bryant. Leslie Jones starred as Viola Davis, Cecily Strong as Marion Cotillard, and Kate McKinnon as Debette Goldry.

"Have I ever experienced sexual harassment in Hollywood? Good Friday, where do you want me to start?" Goldry said. "Women being harassed is Hollywood. Everything old is new again. Producers are abusing starlets. There's Nazis marching in the street. And suddenly nude pantyhose are on-trend. I have never felt more at home." She quipped, "When's polio coming back? This will be fun."

"I did have one meeting with Harvey," she continued. "I was invited to his hotel room and when I arrived he was naked, hanging upside down from a monkey bar. He tried to trick me into thinking his genitals were actually his face. It almost worked. The resemblance is uncanny."

She concluded, "Violence against women, it doesn't just happen to famous actresses, it's everywhere. Pandora's box is open now, and Pandora's pissed. Who's with me?"

The "SNL" also saw Alec Baldwin returning as President Donald Trump. He responded to Eminem's diss rap, "Eminem apparently did a freestyle rap on the bet network the other day, and very soon I'm going to release a response rap on the white entertainment network HGTV so watch your back, Eminem."

In another sketch, McKinnon channeled her inner Kellyanne Conway again. She was portrayed as the creepy Pennywise the Clown from the horror movie "It". She was seen lurking in the sewer and trying to lure Alex Moffat's Anderson Cooper.
