In a newly-released promo for upcoming episode 7, Dunham's Solanas can be seen looking fierce while aiming a gun at presumably Evan Peters' Andy Warhol.

AceShowbiz - FX has released a promo for upcoming episode 7 of "American Horror Story: Cult" titled "Valerie Solanas Died For Your Sins: Scumbag". The promo offers a glimpse of Lena Dunham's debut as guest star, portraying Valerie Solanas.

The promo sees Dunham's Solanas, who shot Andy Warhol (Evan Peters) in 1968, donning a brown coat over a yellow polo shirt. She can be seen aiming a gun at presumably Peters' Warhol while looking fierce.

Fans assume that the scene featuring Solanas may be a flashback, given the fact that the actress died in 1988 at age 52 after suffering pneumonia. Solanas reportedly shot Warhol at The Factory three times because she thought that would make her play famous. Two bullets missed but the last bullet hit Warhol's lungs, stomach, spleen and esophagus.

Solanas later turned herself into the police, claiming that she'd done it because Warhol "had too much control in my life." She was sent to a mental institution after being declared unfit to stand trial. In 1969, she represented herself at her trial and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Also featured in the promo is returning actress Frances Conroy, whose character detail is kept under wraps. However, judging by her hair, it seems like Conroy will portray an older version of a character who knew Solanas in the '60s.

In addition to portraying Warhol, Peters will play a slew other famous cult leaders, including Charles Manson, David Koresh and Jim Jones.

Previously, creator Ryan Murphy revealed that he would re-edit an upcoming episode, which was initially set to feature mass shooting, in the aftermath of devastating Las Vegas massacre which killed 59 and left more than 500 injured.

"I just made the decision that I'm going to have all of that violence be shown for the most part off camera," Murphy said at The New Yorker Festival panel. He revealed that the episode, which was filmed back in September, was too graphic since "the whole point of the piece was to be an obvious anti-gun warning about society."

"American Horror Story: Cult" airs on Tuesdays at 10 P.M. on FX.
