In an upcoming November episode of the sitcom, the 36-year-old will play Tyson, 'a hunky B-movie actor who takes his craft way too seriously.'

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" star Nick Viall is returning to ABC, but not as the Bachelor again. The 36-year-old is set to make his primetime acting debut as he has landed a guest-starring role in current season 2 of the network's comedy "Speechless".

According to PEOPLE, Nick will portray Tyson, "a hunky B-movie actor who takes his craft way too seriously." A source further explained to the site, "After befriending JJ (Micah Fowler) on a set, 'Tyson' summons all his powers for the performance of a lifetime, deceiving Maya [Minnie Driver] and Jimmy [John Ross Bowie] to get JJ out of hot water."

The episode featuring Nick will air in November while the filming is slated to begin next week. "Speechless" follows a family whose son is navigating high school while suffering from cerebral palsy.

Nick has been serious in pursuing his acting career as the Milwaukee native resumed his acting classes at a Los Angeles studio back in July. Nick reportedly enrolled in a four to six-week intensive acting course, with a weekly class to learn acting basics before moving into comedy training.

Nick previously starred in season 21 of "The Bachelor", on which he proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. However, the pair announced their split in August. "It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," Nick and Vanessa said in a joint statement at that time.

"We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other," the statement continued.
