AceShowbiz - Lionel Richie was not too fond of Scott Disick. The R&B singer expressed his concerns about her daughter Sofia Richie dating the reality TV star. His reputation with women and booze seemed to precede him.
"Have I been in shock?! I'm the dad, come on," the 68-year-old musician said when asked by Us Weekly at the "American Idol" auditions in New York City. He additionally confessed, "I'm scared to death, are you kidding me?"
Sofia Richie, 19, and Scott Disick, 34, have been inseparable in the past few weeks since they went public with their romance last month at a Miami beach. She showed off PDA in a recent Instagram picture, hugging her new boyfriend in the photo.
The couple was first romantically linked in May this year during Cannes after they were seen getting flirty at a yacht. She quickly shut down the romance rumors on Twitter, "Just so everyone can get their panties out of their asses, Scott and I are just homies #relax."
Sofie insisted that her relationship with the reality TV star was strictly platonic when they were spotted together again. "The last time I'm gonna say it. Scott and I are just friends. I'm single and focused on friends, family and work. #againrelax," so she told her online followers.
Scott Disick broke up with baby mama Kourtney Kardashian in 2015 following a tumultuous on-and-off relationship. He still appeared on her family show and recently revealed that he still tried to "f**k" her at least once a week despite their split. The former couple share three children together. Kourtney is now dating former boxer Younes Bendjima.
Before dating Sofia, the self-proclaimed Lord was often pictured partying with different women including actress Bella Thorne. They sparked hookup rumors after spotted hanging out together on several occasions but she claimed that they're just friends.
