AceShowbiz - Is Sam Smith dating actor Brandon Flynn? The British singer/songwriter was caught on camera kissing the "13 Reasons Why" actor on the lips during a recent outing in Greenwich Village, New York City.
Smith, 25, wore a white T-shirt and blue jeans while Flynn, 23, donned a striped tee and dark pants with a black hoodie tied around his waist. The couple kissed and held hands while taking a stroll in the Big Apple.
The "Stay with Me" hitmaker was in town ahead of his performance on "Saturday Night Live". The singer is scheduled to drop by the "SNL" on October 7 with Gal Gadot as a host. It will mark his second appearance on the show but it will be the first one for the "Wonder Woman" actress.
It's unclear what song Smith is going to perform on the NBC variety show, but he recently released a brand new single called "Too Good at Goodbyes". He hyped up his upcoming "SNL" return on Instagram, "5 more days till Saturday Night Live. Can't believe my first SNL was over three years ago!! F**********k."
He revealed that the new single was inspired by his recent breakup. He recorded it after realizing that he was "really good at getting dumped." He said the song was "very sad, very truthful, but I feel like its empowering. When I'm sad and confess things, I believe it is brave."
"This song is - I'll be very open about it - it's about a relationship I was in in 2016. I basically got dumped about three times. And on the third time that everything ended, I had got so good at walking out the door that I kind of knew what to do, and I had a tick box in front of me of all the things I would do to get over this person."
