The funnyman and Julia Carey looked cute when attending Sunday's event, with him sweetly placing his hand on his wife's baby bump while giggling and beaming brightly on the red carpet.

AceShowbiz - Watching this cute expectant couple is just the best! James Corden looked happier than ever when he arrived at the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards, which took place at the Microsoft Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, September 17, with his pregnant wife Julia Carey.

The British TV personality suited up for a dapper look in a navy tux and shiny oxfords. His producer wife, meanwhile, sported a black halter gown which elegantly draped over her pregnancy shape. The 38-year-old beauty styled her hair in an elegant up-do while holding a chic striped clutch.

The 39-year-old comedian and his pregnant wife were all smiles as they showed off some PDA on the red carpet. They looked cute when posing for photographers, with James at one point sweetly placing his hand on his wife's baby bump while giggling and beaming brightly in front of cameras.

In addition to gearing up for the arrival of their third child, James, who received a nomination for Best Variety Talk Series for his "The Late Late Show with James Corden", and Julia were just celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on September 15.

Speaking to E! News on the red carpet, James jokingly revealed he had an important job that night. "I'm here with my wife and she's five months pregnant, so it's mostly just thinking of places that I could hide snacks," said the comedian. "That's all I'm really doing, I walk around thinking, 'Where could I hide snacks?' Because she's gonna get hungry every seven minutes."

James and Julia are already parents to 6-year-old son Max and 2-year-old daughter Carey. A rep for the famous host confirmed that the couple's expecting their third child back in July.

When told that he's a good husband because he's thoughtful of his wife's comfort, James laughed. "I don't about that," he said at the Sunday evening event. "It's just I will face the wrath if she's not fed, no, I found her a nice seat so she's OK."

Asked how he manages to not feel overwhelmed by his success. The funnyman explained, "Well I think you gotta just take it all with a bag of salt really. Do you know what I mean? It's not really real." He continued, "It's lovely," adding, "But you know nights like tonight are terrific for the whole team, for everybody involved in our show, for me, for my wife, it's wonderful. But when you kind of start thinking you're a bit of a dude than you really are, that's a really bad idea I think."
