Report: G-Eazy Dumped Lana Del Rey for Halsey
Celebrity

Following his alleged split from the 'Born to Die' hitmaker, the rapper moved on with Halsey and tapped her to be a featured artist on his new song.

AceShowbiz - It seemed like G-Eazy and Lana Del Rey were indeed dating. However, the rapper was said to have dumped her in order to be with Halsey. Additionally, he decided to mix business with pleasure as he recruited the dark pop songstress to assist him on a song titled "Him & I" off his new album "The Beautiful & Damned".

G-Eazy initially wanted Lana to be featured on the track, but he later changed his mind. "G-Eazy initially begged Lana to be the singer on his new song 'Him & I' but then they split and he changed his mind," a source told Mirror. "Instead he teamed up with Halsey on the song and he's now started dating her."

G-Eazy and Lana were first romantically linked when they were spotted cozying up to each other at Coachella in April. "They were together for the entire weekend. They barely left one another's sides and looked very lovey-dovey," a source said at that time. "They were kissing and whispering in each other's ears."

"It wasn't just the two of them-they had come with the same group of friends. But they looked pretty hot for one another," the source continued. "She was dancing the whole time during Kendrick Lamar's performance and he was actually watching her more than the stage."

Their romance was seemingly short-lived, though. Following their alleged split, G-Eazy has been flaunting PDA with Halsey on and off social media. A week ago, the "Now or Never" hitmaker shared on Instagram a sexy photo that found her and G-Eazy clinging to each other in front of bodega beer aisle. Last month, when performing their new duet, the pair were "kissing for several seconds, with the crowd at Blue Nile in New Orleans going wild for the unexpected makeout session."

"If [Halsey and G-Eazy] weren't dating before, or if they weren't an item afterwards, they definitely were together last night," a source told HollywoodLife.com at that time. "Backstage, they were holding each other and occasionally kissing before and after their performance. They played up being in a relationship on the night. They really had eyes for each other and it looks like something is brewing."

"Things are happening pretty fast and it's exciting but a bit scary as well because it feels so right," the source added. "They both are looking forward to seeing where things go but so far so good. They just don't want to ruin a potential good thing by rushing into it because they still would love to work together if the relationship part of things falls through since they really enjoy each other's music. It's clearly a honeymoon phase situation and they are enjoying the ride."
