After getting Josh Gad's stranded family a hotel room, the 'Frozen' star helps evacuate Jennifer Carpenter's loved ones to a safer place.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Bell saved another family stranded in the East Coast due to Hurricane Irma. After securing a shelter for Josh Gad's loved ones, the actress helped evacuate Jennifer Carpenter's family from their home in Tampa, Florida when they were trapped with no apparent way out.

Before Kristen swooped in to help, Jennifer's grandmother and aunt planned to take shelter in a closet wearing bike helmets. "Gma&aunt were ready2 wear helmets N closet under eye of #HurricanIrma til @IMKristenBell found them a way out!!" the "Dexter" actress tweeted along with a picture of her stranded family and their makeshift bed in the closet.

"Picturing them in there, for what could be 12 hours or more, afraid and in danger was more than I or my family could take," Jennifer told The Huffington Post in an email, "We exhausted every resource we could think of with no luck to move them east."

She then remembered Kristen, her castmate in 2002's movie "People Are Dead", and decided to ask her old friend for help. "I knew Kristen was in Orlando because I saw what she did for Josh," she opened up. "I decided to reach out ... and told her what we were up against. I wanted to see if they could sleep in the lobby of her hotel. Or in the hallway. Anything!"

According to Jennifer, Kristen responded "within a matter of moments." The Debra Morgan depicter was grateful to Kristen and some of her colleagues who volunteered to "double-up in a room" so Jennifer's family "wouldn't have to brace the storm in a closet."

"I know that's the reality for a lot of people right now. I also know that if Kristen could get all of them a room in a safer place, she would do it," Jennifer said. "She's like a battery that never loses her charge for the good fight. She deserves a lot of credit for what she does publicly and privately."

"[My aunt and grandmother] are driving forces in our very small, very close family. Kristen got them to a safer place when we couldn't. How do you thank someone for that?" the actress continued.

Kristen Bell was in Florida to film her new movie "Like Father". She and the film crew are hunkering down at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. She helped Josh Gad's brothers, sister-in-law, niece and nephew secure a room to ride out the storm. "They don't make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above," Josh wrote on Instagram.

While being stuck in the East Coast, Kristen also lent a helping hand at a local middle school which was used as a shelter. She serenaded the evacuees with "For the First Time in Forever" from her Disney animated movie. "I hope maybe some of these songs are running through your head the rest of the day and will take your mind off of it," she told the crowd.

"Thank you so much @IMKristenBell for stopping by and encouraging us with your beautiful voice and positive message! Continue spreading joy!" the school tweeted along with a video.

Kristen herself wrote on her own social media, "When #HurrcaneIrma is at your heels, there's only one thing to do: get to a shelter, grab a mic and SING. #Irma2017." She shared a picture from her visit, "When youre #singinginahurricane, your volunteer back up dancers can & will steal the show. Richard and Rebecca everyone! #hurricaneirma."
