AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown and her rumored lover, a married Beverly Hills cop named Ryan Lawrence, were seen together for the first time. The Spice Girls star and the police officer were photographed enjoying sandwiches during a lunch date in Los Angeles.
The snapshot was taken by none other than Melanie's oldest daughter Phoenix and posted on her Snapchat. Ryan looked right at the camera while Melanie was seemingly unaware of it. Wearing a red dress, she was seen busy talking on her phone.
It's unclear when the photo was taken by Phoenix, but their alleged affair came to light in August. The "America's Got Talent" judge was seen sporting a long hair in the picture while she recently had her hair cut into a shorter do.
Rumor has it, the cop has been staying the night at Melanie's apartment in El Lay. While she was rumored to call off their relationship after knowing he had a wife, the picture of their lunch date seemed to add fuel to the romance rumors. The 42-year-old British star herself neither confirmed nor denied any of the internet chatters.
Melanie Brown is currently batting her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte in court over the custody of their child. She is divorcing him after a decade-long marriage. She revealed in April that he physically and emotionally abused her, sexually exploited her, and cheated on her with their nanny. She was granted restraining order following the allegations.
Mel B started dating Stephen in early 2007 while she was pregnant with her daughter Angel from a previous relationship with actor Eddie Murphy.
