Leo and his former girlfriend are leaving a celebrity hotspot together in New York City when they're spotted by shutterbugs.

The couple sparked such rumor after they were spotted holding hands in New York City on early Saturday morning, September 9. They were seen leaving 10ak nightclub together as they attempted to make a low-key exit.

As soon as the 42-year-old actor and the 25-year-old model were spotted by shutterbugs, they quickly broke apart. He opted for casual attire in a navy shirt and jeans combo while his female companion looked chic in black pants and vest. She had her dark blazer draped over her shoulder to fend off the cold weather.

Before he was spotted with his ex, Leo was seen partying with another model named Lorena Rae. They were first photographed together at a party in Monaco back in May and have since hanging out together on numerous occasions. However, a representative for the Oscar winner vehemently denied he's dating Lorena.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Toni Garrn broke up in December 2014. They started dating in 2013. After his split from Toni, he was linked to another model Nina Agdal but they reportedly parted ways in May. Other runway beauties who were once linked to the actor included Bar Refaeli, Erin Heatherton and Kelly Rohrbach. He also dated Spice Girls' Emma Bunton and supermodel Gisele Bundchen in the past.

The movie star was last on the big screen in 2015's critically-acclaimed "The Revenant". He won Golden Globe and Academy Awards for Best Actor, thanks to his role as fur trapper Hugh Glass. His next projects include a Leonardo da Vinci biopic. He is also reportedly eyed to replace Jared Leto in the Joker origin movie.

On top of that, Leo is set to reunite with his frequent collaborator Martin Scorsese. They are working on a true crime thriller "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI". Based on a bestselling book by David Grann, it focuses on a series of murders of the members of the Osage nationin 1920s after oil was discovered beneath their land. The case became one of FBI's first major homicide investigations.
