The prince says 'there's not much sleep going on at the moment,' but 'she's well' and they were able to 'start celebrating this week.'

AceShowbiz - Prince William has appeared in public for the first time since news of Kate Middleton expecting their third child broke. After delivering his speech at the Police Chief's National Mental Health and Policing Conference on Tuesday, September 4 in Oxford, England, he was congratulated about the baby news.

"Thank you, it’s very good news," he told the audience, before adding, "There's not much sleep going on at the moment." Alluding to his wife's acute morning sickness, he also said, "We need Catherine to get over this first bit and then we can start celebrating. It's always a bit anxious to start with, but she's well."

Kate is being cared for at the royal couple's apartment in London's Kensington Palace. She also suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum or acute morning sickness during her previous two pregnancies.

The baby will join brother Prince George, 4, and sister Princess Charlotte, 2. The Duchess of Cambridge is believed to be between eight and twelve weeks pregnant and is expected to deliver the baby sometime between mid-March and mid-June. The baby will be born fifth in line to the throne and bump Prince Harry into sixth place.

The magazine's editor and owner were ordered to pay 100,000 euros in damages.

Another publication, La Provence newspaper, was fined 3,000 euros for publishing pictures of Kate in her bathing suit. A photographer from La Provence and two agency photographers were also ordered to pay fines ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 euros. Marc Auburtin, La Provence's publishing director at the time, received a suspended fine of 1,500 euros.
