Among the performers that night were DJ Khaled's Golden Buzzer winner Chase Goehring, plane crash survivor Kechi and crazy dance troupe Diavolo.

AceShowbiz - The last 12 acts took the stage of "America's Got Talent" in Tuesday, August 29 episode. Among the performers that night were DJ Khaled's Golden Buzzer winner Chase Goehring, plane crash survivor Kechi and crazy dance troupe Diavolo. Seven of them would advance to the semifinals.

After last week's winners were shown, DaNell Daymon and Greater Worker hit the stage to deliver a mesmerizing performance. The gospel group belted John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's iconic tune, "You're the One That I Want". Judge Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B dubbed the performance "electrifying," while Heidi Klum loved their performance and song choice.

Following DaNell Daymon and Greater Worker were the brother and sister Junior and Emily Alabi. After sharing their tear-jerking story about their difficult life, the siblings showed off their moves and danced to an EDM music. Both Simon Cowell and Heidi thought the act was dynamic, powerful and very entertaining.

The next performance was from Final Draft, who came back with a wildcard. To redeem themselves, they opted for a completely rearranged version of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You". However, it seemed their big plan didn't work out as Howie Mandel said that the act was kind of boring.

Choreographer Oscar Hernandez slayed "M.I.L.F. $" by Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie. Even though he was accompanied by a group of backup dancers, they didn't outshine him as he offered his signature jumping split. Despite giving it all during his performance, Oscar was struggling to remember his choreography. Simon and Howie both hoped he would move on to the next round.

Angelina Green was next up. Heidi's Golden Buzzer winner performed a stunning cover of Sara Bareilles' "Gravity". Backed with piano and violin play, Angelina completely blew judges and audience's minds. Simon said that regardless of her age she had an amazing voice.

Colin Cloud was the next act to hit the stage. For that night performance, the real-life Sherlock Holmes told the crowd that he would solve Simon's murder. Colin convinced Mel to stab Simon with a knife, but fortunately it was only a plastic knife. Colin went on doing his tricks which was a little bit confusing but epic.

Host Tyra Banks later introduced subway singer Mike Young as the next act. He sang Ed Sheeran's chart-topping hit "Thinking Out Loud". He made the song sound like it was his own, making Heidi dub it his "best performance ever." Simon added, "You can't put an age limit on talent. You deserve to be here."

Oskar & Gaspar followed next, delivering a spellbinding human projection. Featuring a male and female performance, the undercover duo displays emotions through colors and shapes as Rihanna's "Diamond" was beautifully sung as the background music.

Next was Simon's favorite Sara and Hero. Surrounded by the ancient pyramids of Egypt, Sarah and her dog Hero first showed off their tricks. Sarah's other dog Loki also joined in on the fun as it jumped rope during the happy performance. "You one billion percent deserve to be in the finals," Simon gushed.

Chase Goehring, who won DJ Khaled's Golden Buzzer, performed his another original song, and this time it was called "Rare Illusion". Although Heidi admitted that the song was not her favorite, she complimented Chase's voice.

Diavolo brought another incredible act that night. The group of dancers danced around a moving circle piece between two stationary ladders as they demonstrated space exploration with their movements. "This is memorable, it's different, you're brave, you're imaginative," Simon told the troupe.

Rounding out that night's performances was Kechi, who survived horrible plane crash as a teenager. She flaunted her beautiful set of pipes while belting out "By the Grace of God" by Katy Perry. "You are a survivor. You are an inspiration. You give people hope. For that reason, I must see you again," Mel B said. "You are important. People need people like you," Simon added.
