The 'Roommate' alum previously took to Instagram to ask people to stop asking if he'd leave GOT7, writing, 'It's not even a question, homies ride forever, it's not about a contract.'

AceShowbiz - Jackson will not be leaving GOT7. His six groupmates have made it clear that the 23-year-old rapper means the world for them in a sweet video posted by JYP Entertainment on YouTube. The video is a response to fans' speculation saying that he will depart from the group following his solo debut in China.

In the video, which is titled "For Jackson, From True Friends", the members talk about how GOT7 will not be complete without Jackson. "We can't leave out any members, but we really need Jackson because we're so happy with him," Yugyeom states, before explaining Jackson is a dear friend to him. "Our team is perfect because Jackson and the other members exist," BamBam adds.

Youngjae (II) keeps laughing throughout the video, saying that it feels awkward to express his feelings like this. However, he doesn't hesitate to call Jackson "a fascinating brother" who "is a vitamin to me." Meanwhile, Jr. a.k.a. Jinyoung emphasizes that he is "definitely a precious friend." Leader JB further shares that Jackson is "a member who plays an important role" as well as the mood maker of the group. Mark, the oldest member, goes on saying that the "Go Fridge" co-host is a "little brother who's close to me."

The video ends with the members congratulating Jackson for his debut and wishing him all the best of luck. "You know, this is your dream, and your dream finally came true. I'm really proud of you, and congratulations, bro! I love you," BamBam says.

Prior to this, Jackson expressed his frustration over people speculating that he would leave GOT7 after his solo debut. He later took to Instagram to set the records straight. "Stop asking about me leaving GOT7 my lovely people," he commented on one of his photos. "It's not even a question, homies ride forever, it's not about a contract, it's about a relationship, a friendship, on top of all, a true family."

Jackson recently released his solo single "Papillon". The song ranked first on China's QQ music chart shortly after its release.
