The video sees Sheldon and his Mom being confronted by several teachers who are enraged after Sheldon questions their credentials.

AceShowbiz - We're a month away from the release of "Young Sheldon", an upcoming "The Big Bang Theory" spin-off on CBS. A new promo makes its way out online, offering a closer look at younger version of Sheldon Cooper, played by Iain Armitage.

The promo opens with Jim Parsons, who portrayed Sheldon on the mothership show, narrating, "Every high schools has cliques, jocks and popular girls. But not every high school has Sheldon Cooper, boy genius." The video cuts to a scene featuring nine-year-old Sheldon standing at a high school's entrance beside her mom Mary (Zoe Perry).

"Oh dear. That boy has an exposed tattoo. I wonder if he knows that's a violation of the dress code," he says. He's not stopping there as he continues saying, "Mom, look. That girl's pregnant." His mom, meanwhile, awkwardly congratulates the girl.

It appears that Mary is asked to come to the school as some of the teachers are complaining about Sheldon's behavior in their classes. "Five minutes into my math class, he questioned my credentials," says an angry teacher. Another snarks, "He said I was intimidated by his intelligence."

"It's sort of like going back in time in a time machine or the DeLorean," Iain previously joked at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. The young actor made sure that he was in full 1980s mode as he made a reference to "Back to the Future".

"Young Sheldon" follows 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, a very gifted yet peculiar child, who is living with his family in East Texas and going to high school. Jon Favreau ("The Jungle Book") is set to direct the first episode of the half-hour single-camera series, with Jim Parsons narrating. The cast also includes Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan who will play Sheldon's father and siblings respectively.

The spin-off will premiere on Monday, September 25 at 8.30 P.M. on CBS, before moving to its regular slot on Thursdays at 8:30 P.M. starting on November 2.
