AceShowbiz - After heating up the MTV VMAs stage with her performance of "Bodak Yellow", Cardi B found herself in an embarrassing moment as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction. The Bronx femcee was close to suffering a nip-slip at the Sunday, August 27 event held at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Cardi was on the stage to introduce Demi Lovato's performance at the award-giving show when her strapless pink dress started slipping down her breast. As her right hand was holding the mic, the 24-year-old hip-hop star used her left hand to adjust the upper part of her dress, preventing her from flashing her nipple.
While safely clutching her left breast, Cardi confidently announced before the audience, "Give it up for Demi Lovato performing 'Sorry Not Sorry'," without missing a beat. She also sent some extra love to embattled NFL quarterback Calin Kaepernick. "Colin Kaepernick, as long as you kneel for us, we gon be standing with you, baby," she added.

And the whole ordeal left many on Twitter baffled and intrigued. "IM OVER HERE LIKE Cardi B HAD A NIPSLIP WITHOUT NIPPLES... SHE AINT HAVE NO NIPPPPLLLLEEESSSS," one perplexed fan tweeted.
Another user, meanwhile, noted, "I'm no nipple specialist- but just how low are Cardi B's nipples? PS: We know you was tryna have a nip slip, girl. We see you." Still, some others applauded the former stripper's quick move. "Cardi B saving that nip slip was great. Lmaooo #VMAs," one of them wrote.
One said, "cardi b is cool asf." Another gushed, "Cardi B almost lost a boob and it didn't even phase her so naturally my devotion grew." There's also a user who praised Cardi for "defending Kaepernick while keeping her boob from popping out. Iconic already." Another tweeted, "Respect to Cardi B for keeping it real."
Earlier that night, Cardi performed her hit "Bodak Yellow" on the VMAs pre-show carpet in a different, more secure ensemble. She wore a crystal-studded leotard, robe and a pair of boots that matched her outfit.
