The former Spice Girls member explains why she got angry at fellow 'America's Got Talent' judge for joking about her failed marriage.

AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown spoke out after she threw a glass of water at fellow judge Simon Cowell during "America's Got Talent" live show. "My journey tonight was all over the place. But I'm a very real, honest person, so what you see is what you get," she told E! News.
She elaborated, "[Evie Clair] really made me cry because it made me think about my dad, and my dad recently passed from cancer also, with an almost 8-9 years struggle. So a story like that from such a young girl really touches my heart...She just sounded so beautiful and I couldn't stop crying, so I go from that to Simon saying something so rude and inappropriate."
Simon poked fun at Mel B's failed marriage after escape artist Demian Aditya had technical issues during his performance. "I kind of imagine this would be like Mel B's wedding night," Simon commented, "A lot of anticipation, not much promise or delivery." She responded by hurling her drink at the music producer before walking off the stage.
"He should know, if you say something inappropriate he's gonna get like, stuff thrown at him," she told Entertainment Tonight after the show. "In a friendly way," she quickly added, "I made sure there was no ice in it this time ... just fizzy water."
The ex-member of Spice Girls only had regret. "I just [wish] I would have had cranberry juice in there or something, and then his whole body would be really sticky!" the former Scary Spice quipped.
It's now all good between them after the two talked it out during commercial break. "I told him he was an a**hole and that was it, and he goes, 'Oh, whatever,' " she revealed.
"Simon loves to tease Mel like he's her little sister. Like she's his little sister. I think I need to go to bed," the host Tyra Banks commented on the OMG moment. Meanwhile, judge Howie Mandel joked, "With Mel, it looks like water, but I think it's vodka. She's had a rough year. She has to do what she has to do. The publicist is looking at me like, 'Why are you saying Mel drinks vodka.' "
Demian Aditya was not the only one having technical problem. Light Balance also couldn't perform their act live. "I was feeling like the show was totally falling apart and I had to hold it together with my rings," Tyra Banks lamented.
