AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson is fueling rumors claiming that he called off engagement to FKA twigs after he was spotted hanging out with Mia Goth. Robert and Mia are currently in Germany to film their new movie "High Life (2017)", and the two seemed to be getting to know each other while sightseeing in Cologne on Tuesday, August 22.
Sporting a grey hoodie, a baseball cap and a pair of shades, Robert looked stony as he walked alongside the actress during the sunny outing. Mia opted for a casual look, rocking blue jeans, an oversized jacket and a black tee while styling her hair into high bun. She was seen holding what appeared to be the city's tourist guide pamphlet.
Things indeed haven't looked good for Robert and his "kind of" fiancee FKA twigs after the actor was pictured enjoying a dinner date with Katy Perry a few weeks ago. Their relationship has allegedly fizzled out because of the "Roar" hitmaker. While recent report suggested that Robert and FKA twigs called off their engagement, it looks like they are just on a break due to their busy schedule.
"Rob and twigs are on a break--they've been having problems for a while and it's got nothing to do with [his hangout with Katy Perry]...she would never get in the middle of his relationship," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "And there's still a lot of hope that Rob and twigs will fix this, Rob definitely still wants to try. What they really need is to spend some quality time together. The problem is they're both so insanely busy with their careers that they're hardly ever in the same place. The only thing to blame here is their busy schedules and the long distance, not Katy."
Robert first hinted there might be trouble in his relationship with FKA twigs during an interview last month, saying that he's "kind of" engaged to the singer. He went on explaining his non-committal remark, "It's the most frustrating things in the world. Because you want to be able to do that."
Robert and FKA twigs began dating in 2014. In the following year, the "Twilight" actor proposed to the British songstress. The pair have been keeping their romance private to protect each other from people whom Robert describes as a "crack group of crazies" and "professional trolls."
