First look at Tennant reprising his role as mind-controlling villain Kilgrave in season 2 of the Netflix series has made its way out online.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Krysten Ritter's super-powered private investigator character will have to deal with Kilgrave again on "Marvel's Jessica Jones" season 2. David Tennant is set to reprise his role as the mind-controlling villain in the upcoming installment of the Netflix series.

Entertainment Weekly first reports the news and has obtained the first photo of Tennant on the set of the show. Wearing a dark suit, he's seen posing next to Ritter, who is donning her character's signature leather jacket.

It's unclear though how the show will bring back Kilgrave as Jessica snapped his neck in the first season finale. Will he appear as a voice in her head after tormenting her with his mind-control powers for quite a long time?

Find out the answer when "Jessica Jones" returns for season 2 sometime in 2018. Before that, Jessica Jones will team up with Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist on "Marvel's The Defenders", which will be released Friday, August 18 on Netflix.
