Universal has announced that the feature adaptation of A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rosmon's Image graphic novel will be released in summer 2019.

AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has set a release date for Chris Pratt-led "Cowboy Ninja Viking". The studio has announced June 28, 2019 U.S. as the release date for the feature adaptation of A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rosmon's Image graphic novel.

Pratt has been attached to star in and produce the upcoming movie for a while now. The 38-year-old actor will be producing the project alongside Mark Gordon, Michael De Luca and Guymon Casady. No director has been announced as of now.

In the big-screen adaptation of "Cowboy Ninja Viking", Pratt will portray a character who is a new kind of assassin with the ability to manifest the toughest skills of three different personas: Cowboy, Ninja and Viking.

Pratt became interested in the project in 2014, before his movie "Jurassic World" opened and made $1.67 billion. He stars in this summer's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and will make an appearance in "Avengers: Infinity War", which is set to bow May 4, 2018.
