'Once Upon a Time': Find Out Regina's New Name
TV

Under the new curse in Hyperion Heights, the Evil Queen will abandon her old name and go by the name of Roni, named after her bar.

AceShowbiz - Until recently, fans had no idea what was Regina's new name in the upcoming season of "Once Upon a Time". Entertainment Weekly has solved the mystery and reveals that Regina's new name is the name of her bar, Roni.

"It's the new Granny's--with alcohol and cassettes," executive producer Edward Kitsis says of Roni's.

Lana Parrilla previously said that her character would no longer wear pant suits. "I'm in denim and rock T-shirts. When we meet her... she's working in a bar. She's a bar owner. She's a little rough around the edges, not the queen that we're used to," she explained.

"She has curly hair. She's looks different, she feels different," she continued. "Like [Colin O'Donoghue], I've played so many versions of this character, and this one feels really different. All the others were evolutions of the same character... She's no longer in charge, and we've always seen Regina in charge or try to be in charge."

Regina is not the only character to undergo major shift under a new curse in Hyperion Heights. Hook (O'Donoghue) will turn into "a uniformed cop in Seattle," while EPs are going to give Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) a new and mysterious persona.
