The 31-year-old actor reveals that he thinks he's 'spending the best summer so far' because of the release of his new movie and his upcoming wedding to Song Hye Kyo.

AceShowbiz - Song Joong Ki is having the time of his life. The "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" star has been receiving love from fans since years ago, but he revealed that this summer is very special for him and he's never been happier.
"Since I have two big events happening this year, I think I'm spending the best summer so far," he said during an appearance on JTBC's "Newsroom" on Thursday, July 27. "My movie has already been released, and the other event is my wedding."
The "Deep Rooted Tree" actor also recommended a song for the audience, and he chose Song Hye Kyo's favorite song from the movie "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg". "I watched the movie a few months ago. It's an old movie. I thought it was an incredibly good film and the music didn't leave my mind," he shared, before adding, "Truthfully, it took a long time to make [my choice] since it's also a song that my fiancee likes."
In another interview, Joong Ki stated that deciding to marry Hye Kyo wasn't a decision he made easily. "I'm going to be with her for the rest of my life and it's a very big decision," he revealed. "I can't think of a specific time when I decided marry her. After spending time with her, I began to build trust in her."
He said that his upcoming wedding made him become more careful. "We have jobs in which we have the attention of a lot of people. I definitely did become more wary," he confessed. "I'd like to train my mind. I do have to be more serious in the future. The projects I choose will become different too, especially when I get married and have children. Right now, it seems far off."
