AceShowbiz - After O.J. Simpson was granted parole and is set to walk free in October, people have been wondering what the former NFL star is going to do after being released. A new reality show is one of the options as Kato Kaelin revealed that he was offered to do a new show, which would see him living with the felon.
The former Simpson houseguest revealed to Radar Online that he was offered around $3 million for the odd couple pairing. However, he reportedly refused the offer or precisely any offer which forced him to be involved with The Juice again.
"I can't mention who floated that offer, but I can tell you I told my representatives to remind me to never work with those people on anything they do ever again," the actor told the news outlet. "Absolutely not. Never at any price. I could not live with that."
Kaelin had been publicly saying that Simpson was guilty of the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, so his response was understandable. When asked about how his former friend would face his new freedom, Kaelin said, "His glory days are far behind him now. He will be an ex-con. Younger people know him from a series of unflattering true crime TV specials."
As to what Simpson would do for money, Kaelin shared, "My guess is he'll write a book about his time in prison. If he does, I hope the Goldman and Brown families get that money."
