The 21-year-old actor has been reportedly 'asking for dates,' but the 52-year-old actress doesn't want to get involved with him and reminds Tom that 'she's old enough to be his mom.'

AceShowbiz - Is Tom Holland in love with his on-screen aunt Marisa Tomei? Although the 21-year-old actor recently sparked dating rumors with another "Spider-Man: Homecoming" co-star Zendaya Coleman, he reportedly wants to date the 52-year-old actress.

Tom is said to have been asking Marisa to go out with him. "Tom's been reaching out and asking for dates, but Marisa reminds him she's old enough to be his mom," an insider tells OK!, before adding that the "Cyrus" star has "been careful not to lead Tom on."

However, "The Impossible" actor refuses to give up because he "loves the chase." He's asked to have dinner with her "more than once" and "always makes a point to mention how good she looks." The insider reveals, "Tom wants a date with her and he's told Marisa he'll keep asking until she says yes. He's very charming about it all of course, but he's certainly a persistent guy."

Although Tom seems to be very eager to start a relationship with Marisa, she is definitely not interested. "Marisa's last boyfriend [Logan Marshall-Green] was 12 years younger than her and even that sort of age gap was a struggle for her. The thought of being with someone three decades younger is laughable to her," the insider shares. "There's just no way she'd even consider getting involved with Tom."

The insider further explains that "Marisa is starting to worry that people will assume something has happened between them." "The Big Short" actress is afraid she will get judged by people for being close to Tom. "She's always been judgmental of men that date super young actresses and she's stressing that people might start judging her, even though nothing has happened," the insider adds.
