At the end of the SDCC 'Legion' panel, showrunner Noah Hawley announced that he's developing a movie focusing on the 'Fantastic Four' villain at Fox.

AceShowbiz - A "Doctor Doom" movie is in development from "Legion" creator/showrunner Noah Hawley. At the "Legion" panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 20, Hawley announced that he's developing the solo flick focusing on the "Fantastic Four" villain at Fox.

"I'll just say two words. The first one is Doctor and the next one is Doom," Hawley said at the end of the panel. He didn't give further details about the new project that would involve the biggest villain in the Marvel universe, though.

Doctor Doom is mostly known as the archvillain of the "Fantastic Four". Fox owns the rights to the "Fantastic Four" characters, and the character of Doctor Doom a.k.a. Victor Von Doom was featured in the 2005 superhero flick "Fantastic Four", in which he was played by Julian McMahon. In "The Fantastic Four" reboot in 2015, the villainous character was played by Toby Kebbell.

Doctor Doom is the son of Romani witch Cynthia Von Doom. Known for his signature look of an iron mask and a green cloak, he has a multitude of powers that include sorcery, mind transferal, superhuman strength and near-indestructibility as well as energy projection and absorption.
