The couple, who confirmed their relationship in November 2016, is said to be planning to have an intimate wedding ceremony instead of a public one.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want their wedding ceremony to be an intimate one. Since it is believed that the Queen doesn't approve of their wedding, the couple may tie the knot faraway from the public and elope.

According to Us Weekly, Harry is the one who suggests to have a private wedding ceremony. An insider tells the publication that Harry thinks "that they could get married somewhere and elope rather than have a showy wedding." The insider then adds that Harry may propose to the "Suits" actress on her 36th birthday which falls on August 4.

The insider further explains that the proposal will "be a gift to the actress and himself" since Harry often feels sad in August, the month his mother Princess Diana was killed in a car accident. "He feels getting engaged will lift that gloom forever because he will be able to associate August with something joyful," the insider continues, before adding, "He wants to get married and have kids. He's smitten."

Prior to this, Harry's pal Kirstie Ennis accidentally revealed the couple's possible wedding plans. When asked whether she would attend their wedding, the former U.S. marine nodded her head, before saying, "I don't think I'm worried about the wedding. I'm worried about the after party." She later realized that she had said too much and refused to give more details.

The 32-year-old prince reportedly planned to rush their wedding after his grandfather, Prince Philip, was hospitalized. "The romance might feel rushed, but Harry is certain Meghan is 'the one,' " a source revealed. "It is because of his grandad's ill-health that he has broken the usual two-year romance protocol."
