One of America's most notorious prisoners, who is set to appear before a parole board in Nevada on Thursday in a hearing, was allegedly facing disciplinary charges for pleasuring himself in public.

AceShowbiz - It might be not easy for O.J. Simpson to be granted parole. A new report suggested that the 70-year-old criminal was in jeopardy after being caught masturbating in his cell at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.

A source told Radar Online that Simpson was facing disciplinary charges for pleasuring himself in public. However, the famous criminal reportedly would not have to face the disciplinary hearing before his Thursday parole, a fact which could "pose a problem for him."

"While it's not the most serious charge to be written up for in prison, it's serious enough that any potential parole date maybe be delayed," revealed the source. Even worse, the source added that his parole could be denied "all together."

However, TMZ claimed that the report was nothing but a rumor. "It is against Nevada Dept. of Corrections policy to release inmate disciplinary history to the public. It is also against policy to release inaccurate information. No official from our department would have released the information in question," said a source to the news outlet.

The former NFL star, who has been locked up behind bars after being convicted in a kidnapping and armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel in 2007, is nine years into a nine-to-33-year sentence. He is expected to appear in front of the four-member parole board in Carson City, Nevada, via video conference in a hearing on Thursday, July 20 at 1 P.M.
