The 'Conviction' actor shared the happy news on Instagram by posting an adorable snap of him holding his baby's little hand.

AceShowbiz - Another happy couple is here! Shawn Ashmore and his wife Dana welcomed a baby son over the weekend. On Tuesday, July 18, the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor took to his Instagram account to share a photo of his newborn child.
"Couldn't be more in love with my new baby boy and my incredible wife," the 37-year-old actor captioned an adorable snap of him holding his baby's little hand. His wife Dana also posted a photo of their first child, whose name hasn't been announced yet. "So in love," the producer simply captioned the photo which featured the tiny feet of the baby with white blanket around them.
Earlier this week, Dana shared a boomerang video featuring the baby's lower body. "We did it guys!!! @shawnrashmore," so she captioned the adorable video. "Congratulations. So happy for you guys. Love the video, he can sure dance!" a fan gushed. Meanwhile, another added, "Wonderful news! Huge congratulations ~ the best gift there is."
Although the new parents haven't announced the name of their newborn baby, they might have hinted at their baby's name. Back in March, Dana shared a picture of her holding a hand-painted sign with "Oliver" written on it. Could it be the baby's name?
Shawn and Dana met on the set of 2010's thriller "Frozen". Two years later, they tied the knot in intimate ceremony in Los Angeles.
