An eyewitness said that the crew initially offered to pay her to stop, though they opted not after the musician named too high a price.

AceShowbiz - The filming of "Riverdale" season 2 apparently was not going smoothly recently. A new video taken on The CW's series Vancouver set surfaced online, featuring Cole Sprouse in a heated argument with a street performer, who refused to stop singing. The crew, who was preparing to film a scene just before 10 P.M., was forced to stop filming on Wednesday, July 12.

The clip saw Cole, who was in Jughead's costume, approaching the busker and trying to explain that they were filming nearby. "We can't film anything. I know you're asking for compensation. We are asking simply for an hour," Cole calmly explained, while Lili Reinhart was spotted among the crowd. A crew member was also seen joining Cole trying to reason with the musician, asking her to stop her performance so that they could finish the filming.

"Yeah, and I've offered compensation. So I've offered for you guys to offer me," responded the musician over an amplified mic. Things took an uncomfortable turn later as Cole turned to the crowd and said, "So, just in case you guys don't know how this works, this is one of the secrets of film production. We give a location to the city and then some scam artists come out and start playing..," before getting cut off by the busker.

"Excuse me! Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me. I'm going to interrupt you. I play here regularly, regularly. Every day! I play here everyday. So you guys came into my…where I perform. So you can't call me a 'scam artist.' You guys came into where I perform," she said. As Cole walked away, the musician could be heard saying, "You guys are cheap. You guys are so cheap. And rude. And interfering."

An eyewitness named Sahara Dosanjh wrote on her Twitter account, "This is what happened. They had had to film an important scene and this lady clos to set wouldn't be quiet. So they tried filming while She was singing. But that didn't work out. So lili and cole went to ask her to stop, but she wouldn't and it pissed Cole off."

Sahara said that the crew initially offered to pay her to stop, though they opted not after the musician named too high a price. "They refused so she kept playing louder and stayed longer than usual - she was supposed to leave at 10, but stayed until 11 - so all the fans, including myself, went to talk to her to distract her so they could film their scene and it worked," Sahara added.

The musician was believed to be North Vancouver musician Megan Regehr, who goes by the stage name of Babe Coal. On Thursday morning, July 13, she took to Twitter to claim that she was arrested by Vancouver police following the clash. "Tonight I was detained unlawfully w/ no charge & not read my rights for the purpose of intimidation in a non Police Civil matter," she wrote.
