The new version will revolve around three witches, Annie, Paige and Tina, who come together to fight the forces of evil in a New England town in 1976.

AceShowbiz - Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs are reportedly in talks for "Charmed" reboot. The CW has ordered a one-hour pilot script of the new version of the WB series.

"They're in talks for a reboot," an insider says of Shannen and Alyssa, adding that they've talked to Holly about reprising her role as well. "They're hoping the show gets a second life on Netflix," the insider tells In Touch, "They'd love to play moms with teenage witch daughters."

Shannen, Alyssa and Holly are likely to reprise their roles as the three Halliwell sisters Prue, Phoebe and Piper.

While filming the original back in 1998, there was so much tension between Shannen and Alyssa that many feared they'd never speak again. "Now the show may get a second shot," adds the insider, "just like their friendship."

The new version of "Charmed" will revolve around three witches, Annie, Paige and Tina, who come together to fight the forces of evil in a New England town in 1976. It will be executive produced by Jennie Snyder Urman ("Jane the Virgin"), while Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin will pen the script.
