The 27-year-old rapper apologizes to fans for the album delays and shares that the effort will possibly be released in the next few months.

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea can't seem to wait another day to release her album "Digital Distortion". The Australian raptress has taken to Twitter to reach out to her fans to explain about the album delays. She shares that the two released tracks off the set, "Mo Bounce" and "Switch" ft. Anitta, don't do well in music charts and that's why her label needs to push back the release date again.

She tweets, "They would have liked me to have a hit to drive the album sales but they are probably seeing now that is unlikely." Although there's still no official release date, Iggy claims that the highly-anticipated album will probably arrive in the next few months. The "Black Widow" rapper shares, "It will be released in the next month or two. We are 'discussing' when."

However, Iggy doesn't blame her label for the lack of promo of her latest tracks. "Its not their fault. They need media etc to actually give the platforms FOR the promo. Label cant just force me onto tv and into mags etc," she writes.

"Digital Distortion", which follows up 2014's "The New Classic", was initially planned to arrive in 2016. It looks like Iggy is getting impatient to release it soon and get it over with. "I just want to put it out and be done with it and hopefully start a new album I can finish fast and put out without all these issues," she writes.

When asked by a fan about when she plans to release the follow-up to "Digital Distorion", the rapper hints that another album will arrive next year while making reference to her split with her ex-fiance Nick Young last year. "Nah probs 2018, since you know, im not having a mental breakdown or randomly finding out on e news my fiances having kids with someone else," she tweets.

While she has been teasing fans about a music video for "Switch", Iggy confirms that the visuals won't be released. "I have no clue my label is in charge of that stuff. No we are not releasing the mv," she shares.
