Kevin Feige Confirms Miles Morales Is Part of MCU
Movie

While Miles Morales won't appear in MCU anytime soon, Feige, says, 'We definitely want you to go 'He's there. He's there somewhere.' '

AceShowbiz - Will Tom Holland's Spider-Man be succeeded by Miles Morales? The new Spider-Man franchise has just begun with "Spider-Man: Homecoming" which will grace big screen in the U.S. starting July 7, but there's already chatter about the possibility of Miles appearing in MCU since "Homecoming" features a shout-out to the comic-book character.

In the Holland-starring movie, Donald Glover's Aaron Davis casually mentions his nephew, who in the comics is Miles. Thus during an interview with Screen Crush, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is asked whether the reference is just an Easter egg or there's a chance we will see him someday in Marvel's live-action movie.

"All of those little things are just Easter eggs for fans until they're something more than that. But anything that's happened in the books is potential material for us," Feige says. "In the meantime, I think Miles is a big part of the animated movie that Sony's making. But where we go ... we definitely want you to go 'He's there. He's there somewhere.' "

Holland recently said he would like his character Peter Parker to mentor another Spider-Man, like Miles. "That would be something that I would be very up for doing, it's something that I would really really hope to happen. I think Miles Morales is a great character, I think it would be fantastic to have an actor of color playing a superhero on screen and I just think it's going to be something very cool and something very exciting for this universe," he shared.
