Besides Antonoff and Adams, the 27-year-old singer will reportedly team up with Chris Carrabba on her upcoming sixth studio album.

AceShowbiz - Get ready, Swifties! Taylor Swift's new album may come sooner than we thought. As previously reported, the "Blank Space" hitmaker has been working hard in the studio for the follow-up to "1989". While it is believed that the new album will arrive this fall, the studio effort will reportedly feature Jack Antonoff, Ryan Adams and Dashboard Confessional's lead singer Chris Carrabba.

It is not surprising that Swift decides to tap Antonoff for her sixth album. She collaborated with him on a number of tracks off "1989", including "Out of the Woods" and "I Wish You Would". Antonoff's relationship with actress Lena Dunham even inspired Swift to write "You Are in Love".

Meanwhile, Ryan Adams' involvement also makes sense. The singer literally made covers of entire tracks off "1989". In addition, Swift is a big fan of Dashboard Confessional, so it doesn't come as a surprise when she enlists the band's frontman on her new project. Prior to this, she invited Carrabba to sing at her friend's surprise birthday party in 2015.

There have been conflicting speculations about Swift's new album. The songstress is reportedly still trying to figure out "whether or not she wants to continue in the pop genre." There is still no clue whether she wants to continue with pop, which has brought her to fame, or go back to her country roots. Judging from the involvement of Adams, Antonoff and Carrabba, it looks like she will also include breezy rock vibes on the album.
