AceShowbiz - Miles Teller has spoken up regarding reports about his arrest. The "Whiplash" star took to Twitter on Monday, June 19 to clarify that he wasn't arrested after it was said that he was taken into police custody for public intoxication the day before.
The "Divergent" actor explained that he went to San Diego to visit his friend who was in the military. "Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed," Miles wrote. "I wasn't arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime."

However, some Twitter users didn't seem to believe Miles' statement since it was the police who confirmed his arrest. "That's not was @SanDiegoPD says, but okay," a user tweeted. "By 'third party entertainment news source,' you mean the cops?" another wrote.
