TV

Rachel Lindsay sends home another man in the first rose ceremony and dumps a guy after a group date on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" returned on Monday, June 5 with the first rose ceremony. It picked up where the last episode left off, with DeMario returning to try to explain himself to Rachel Lindsay. He admitted he "messed up," but "can't let you go." He wanted to gain her trust back, but Rachel didn't want a man who lies to her. So she didn't accept his excuse and told him to leave again.

Back into the mansion, Rachel sent home Lucas a.k.a. "Whaboom", his rival Blake E. and Jamey. After being eliminated, Lucas and Blake E. continued their feud outside the house, with Blake E. calling Lucas "clown." He maintained that Lucas was only on the show to get famous and Lucas hit back at him, "Go back to your steroids."

Meanwhile, the show proceeded with the next group date. Rachel and the guys, Alex, Bryan, Fred, Jonathan, Peter and Will, went to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". The guys thought they were invited as audience, but then they were asked to strip down and perform sexy dances for the women. Ellen DeGeneres also asked the men embarrassing questions like whether they've ever thought about having sex with Rachel, peed in the mansion's pool, texted a nude selfie, and kissed the bachelorette.

After the "Ellen" show visit, Fred decided it's time for him to make a move. During some alone time, he asked if he could kiss her, which made Rachel feel awkward. They kissed anyway and he immediately felt sparks, but Rachel kept thinking of Fred as the "little boy" she knew in school. Rachel sent Fred home right then and gave the group date rose to Alex.

Next, Rachel went on a one-on-one date with Anthony. The two rode horses down Beverly Hills' famed shopping street Rodeo Drive wearing cowboy hats. They visited a boutique and bought boots. In the night portion of the date, they had a romantic dinner outdoors, during which they danced as a jazz quarter played for them. Anthony got a rose.

After a visit from Raven, Jasmine, Corrine and Alexis of last season's "The Bachelor", Adam, Brady, Bryce, Dean, Eric, Jack, Kenny and Lee went on a group date with Rachel. They had mud wrestling. Bryce and Kenny were heading into the final, where Bryce beat pro wrestler Kenny.

Bryce and Lee earlier had told Raven that they were suspicious about Eric's motives. After the date, Rachel asked Eric why Bryce and Lee were worried about him. Eric confronted Bryce and Lee about this. They claimed that they meant he was the least experienced with love. Eric got the group date rose anyway.

During the cocktail party, Iggy and Lee also told Rachel that they were worried about Eric. Rachel and Eric talked again, and she clearly trusted him. Eric then told all the guys to stop talking about him, but Lee made it clear that he wouldn't stop. Things started heating up when the episode was cut and to be continued next week.
