The star-studded movie, which also stars Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank and Katherine Waterston, sees Tatum, Craig and Driver's characters attempting a heist during a NASCAR race.

AceShowbiz - First trailer for Steven Soderbergh's "Logan Lucky" has been released by Bleecker Street. The movie, starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig, follows two brothers and a prisoner who team up for a heist during a NASCAR race in North Carolina. Also starring in the star-studded movie are Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank, Katherine Waterston and Sebastian Stan.

Tatum and Driver play siblings Jimmy and Clyde Logan respectively. Both are plotting a robbery during the Coca Cola 600 race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but to do so, they need to ask for a help from a prisoner called Joe Bang (Craig). "I am in-car-cer-a-ted," Joe Bang says. "Yeah, we got a plan to get you out," replies Jimmy.

Soderbergh is not a stranger to directing caper movies. The director helmed "Ocean's Eleven", "Ocean's Twelve" and "Ocean's Thirteen" back in 2001, 2004 and 2007 respectively. However, Soderbergh told Entertainment Weekly that "Logan Lucky" would be "a complete inversion" of the "Ocean's Eleven" movie franchise. "It's an anti-glam version of an 'Ocean's' movie," said Soderbergh.

He added, "Nobody dresses nice. Nobody has nice stuff. They have no money. They have no technology. It's all rubber band technology, and that's what I thought was fun about it. It seemed familiar to me, but different enough. The landscape, the characters, and the canvass were the complete opposite of an 'Ocean's' film."

"Logan Lucky" is set to hit U.S. theaters on August 18.
