The entire Bluth family is expected to return for the next installment which is set for 2018 on Netflix.

AceShowbiz - "Arrested Development" season 5 is officially announced. The upcoming installment is ordered by Netflix. Over the weekend Jason Bateman revealed that he was signed on for the new season, and now the rest of the cast members are confirmed to return as well.

The show originally aired on FOX for three seasons from 2003 to 2006 before it was brought back for a fourth season by Netflix in 2013. The fifth one is set for 2018. Michael Cera, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Portia de Rossi, David Cross and Alia Shawkat are among the cast.

"In talks with Netflix we all felt that that stories about a narcissistic, erratically behaving family in the building business - and their desperate abuses of power - are really underrepresented on TV these days," creator/producer Mitch Hurwitz said. "I am so grateful to them and to 20th TV for making this dream of mine come true in bringing the Bluths, George Sr., Lucille and the kids; Michael, Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, George-Michael, and who am I forgetting, oh Tiffany. Did I say Tiffany? - back to the glorious stream of life."

The sitcom follows the dysfunctional Bluth family through their downfall after their wealthy patriarch went to jail. In the last season, a member of the Bluths was arrested for murder.
