AceShowbiz - So Yul of Crayon Pop is believed to have faked her panic disorder in order to cover up her pregnancy. The 25-year-old singer announced her indefinite hiatus due to panic disorder in October 2016, but now she's accused of faking her condition after revealing that she and former H.O.T. member Moon Hee Jun are welcoming their first child, a daughter, this week.
Moon Hee Jun's agency, Koen Stars, confirmed So Yul's pregnancy on Monday, May 8. "Moon Hee Jun's wife So Yul is currently in the final stages of pregnancy. She is scheduled to give birth this week," the agency said in a statement.
Fans expressed their disappointment in an article on Nate as they felt that the couple should have been honest since the beginning instead of denying their child's existence. "They deserve the hate if they really did lie about the panic disorder to hide their pregnancy. There are so many people actually suffering from panic disorders. I hate people like them," one fan said. "If they had just been honest, their fans would've given them their blessings," another commented.
Some fans also speculated that So Yul lied about her pregnancy in order to protect her husband. A commenter wrote, "I'm sure they hid it because people would've accused [Moon Hee Jun] of impregnating a young girl and forcing her to get married." Others pointed out that the action was unnecessary because Hee Jun is a "has-been" idol. "H.O.T's glory days are long over. So Yul and Moon Hee Jun got married in February after announcing their relationship in November 2016. At that time, the two insisted that it wasn't a shotgun wedding, causing them to receive backlash when So Yul's pregnancy was revealed.
