Movie

The movie, titled 'Book Club', will see four lifelong friends in their 60s who join a monthly book club and find inspiration after reading E.L. James' 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

AceShowbiz - Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda and Candice Bergen will discuss "Fifty Shades of Grey" in their new film. The actresses will star in a comedy titled "Book Club", which has a reference to E.L. James' erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey". "Book Club" marks the directorial debut of "A Walk in the Woods" producer Bill Holderman.

Holderman has co-written the script along with Erin Simms. Both will also produce the flick along with Andrew Duncan from June Pictures and Alex Saks. According to Deadline, the distribution rights for "Book Club" will be sold at Cannes Film Festival this month.

Set in California, " 'Book Club' is a heartfelt comedy about four lifelong friends in their 60s who read '50 Shades of Grey' in their monthly book club and have their lives changed forever. For these successful and intelligent women, this is not the type of book that they typically read, but as they soon find out, inspiration can come in the most unlikely of places."

Keaton will next be seen in romantic comedy "Hampstead", in which she stars alongside Brendan Gleeson. She will also star in Netflix's "Divanation" along with Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn.

Fonda is currently starring on Netflix's "Grace and Frankie" and will next be seen in Netflix's "Our Souls at Night" alongside Robert Redford. Meanwhile, Bergen recently appeared in Netflix's comedy "The Meyerowitz Stories". She will make an appearance in comedy "Home Again" with Reese Witherspoon.
