AceShowbiz - It seems to make sense that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez brought their children along during an Easter trip to the Dominican Republic. A new report from HollywoodLife.com suggests that the couple is "intentionally blending" their families, though they've only been dating for a couple of months.

"J.Lo's kids call A-Rod by his name - Alex - and they really like him too," an insider tells the webloid. "J.Lo's young boy Max [Muniz] is very rambunctious and Alex plays video games with him." The source further asserts that Alex teaches him the right way to throw a ball and play catch. "They get along great," the source adds.

"The fact that Alex has kids too makes the relationship so much easier for Jen," the source continues, before adding, "She struggled with her last few boyfriends who did not have kids, because they just did not understand what it is like to be a parent." J.Lo reportedly thinks Alex is a "devoted parent," so it will be easier for her to taking care of their children. "Jen and Alex also have daughters around the same age and who get along well," the source shares.

PEOPLE reports that J.Lo's 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and Alex's daughters, Natasha and Ella, all participated in an Easter egg hunt in the Dominican Republic. A source tells the publication that the families also enjoyed some mouth-watering foods like omelets, pancakes and pastries. "They are really enjoying each other's company and supporting each other in both family and work," the source adds.
