Producers of the hit NBC singing competition know they cannot afford the damage if the 'Hollaback Girl' singer exits the show, thus they throw money in attempt to keep her on the show.

AceShowbiz - The tensions on the set of "The Voice" current season 12 don't seem to go down, or if anything, it intensifies. One of the judges of the show, Gwen Stefani, previously threatened to quit the NBC singing competition if Miley Cyrus returned for the upcoming season 13, making the producers scramble to keep the "Hollaback Girl" onscreen.

"Producers would love nothing more than for both Gwen and Miley to be on the show at the same time because there would be so much drama," a show insider told Radar Online. However, Gwen simply refused to be a part of it.

Should the "Rich Girl" singer leave, Blake Shelton seemingly will follow his girlfriend's step, making everything more complicated. Knowing that they couldn't afford the damage, "The Voice" producers even mulled to throw her "a considerable amount of money," but sources claimed that "money really doesn't matter" for Gwen and Blake.

Adam Levine was also previously said to take off the show if Blake quit, much to producers' dismay. However, according to the sources, Gwen was hardly "concerned with her co-stars' decisions" or the future of the show as she was still going forward with her exit plan.

The sources emphasized, "Gwen just does not want to be any part of the show when Miley returns." While sources claim that Gwen is set on leaving, whether or not Blake will leave with the 47-year-old millionaire remains to be seen.
